Freelance Azure Platform Engineer

Bruges | 1 day/week on-site (rest remote) | Fluent Dutch

We’re looking for a hands-on Azure Platform / Implementation Engineer for a client in Bruges. This is a freelance role for someone who has actually designed, built, and deployed Azure environments and knows how Azure services really work together.

This is not a theory or Kubernetes-heavy role. It’s about practical Azure implementation, deployments, and helping developers get things running properly in production.

What you’ll do

Design, implement. deploy Azure solutions
Deploy and optimise Azure environments used by development teams
Connect Azure services in a clean, efficient way
Work closely with developers and speak their language
Manage infrastructure using Terraform and GitHub

What we’re looking for

Strong, proven experience implementing and deploying Microsoft Azure
Solid Terraform and GitHub experience (non-negotiable)
Comfortable owning deployments and explaining technical decisions
Interest in development and collaborating closely with engineers
Fluent Dutch speaker, based in Belgium

The setup

Freelance contract
1 day per week on-site in Bruges
