Seasonal Ecologist

Location: Southampton

Salary: GBP23,000 : GBP25,000 pro rata

Contract: Seasonal / Fixed:term

Our client is a well:established ecological consultancy seeking a Seasonal Ecologist to support a busy field season in the Southampton area.

This role is ideal for an enthusiastic ecologist looking to gain hands:on experience across a range of ecological surveys and projects, working alongside a supportive and experienced team.

The Role

Assisting with a variety of ecological surveys, including (but not limited to) protected species surveys and habitat assessments

Collecting high:quality field data and supporting reporting tasks

Working on sites across Southampton and the surrounding areas

Supporting senior ecologists with project delivery during peak season

About You

A degree (or working towards one) in Ecology, Environmental Science, or a related discipline

Some previous field survey experience is desirable

A strong interest in ecology and wildlife conservation

Willingness to work flexible hours, including early mornings or evenings when required

A full UK driving licence is preferred
