Head of Research – Banking & Payments industry
London, hybrid (3 days office)
Salary up to £120,000 + benefits

We’re hiring a Head of Research to lead data-driven research across Banking and Payments, shaping how AI maturity is benchmarked across the financial services sector.

You’ll own end-to-end research delivery - from idea generation and hypothesis testing through to analysis, authorship, and ongoing insight updates - turning complex data into clear, compelling stories for senior stakeholders.

What you’ll be doing

Author thought leadership pieces and mid-year research reports
Analyse AI adoption trends using quantitative and qualitative methods
Partner with client-facing teams to shape industry point-of-view
Interview industry experts and stay ahead of emerging AI trends
Collaborate with analysts, data scientists, and designers

What we’re looking for

Strong experience in research, market intelligence, and financial services
Knowledge of Banking & Payments
Excellent quantitative analysis and writing skills
Confident communicator with a passion for data-driven storytelling
Exposure to AI, and emerging tech shaping the industry
