Summary:

BGC and Cantor Fitzgerald’s Technology Internship programme (Development) offers graduates an opportunity to be part of an exciting and growing team.
Our Technology Internship will commence in Summer 2026 for 10 weeks. We are seeking candidates who are in their penultimate year or have completed all of their higher education studies, have an interest in Technology and are looking to start their career within Financial Services.
Interns will gain hands-on experience working alongside industry professionals on high-impact projects that support innovation, scalability, and operational excellence across our global businesses.
Interns will have exposure to cutting edge technology as the firm is agile and has a dynamic approach delivering world class customer service to a diverse client base.
The programme will consist of technical and professional skills training. You will have a mentor to support and guide your career throughout this programme.
This opportunity could lead to full-time position.

You will have the opportunity to join our Quant Team who:

Support development of analytics and data pipelines for FX Options and IR Options in Python.
Assist with market data and time series: cleaning, enrichment, quality checks, and diagnostics.
Work on microservices producing Interest Rate Derivative and Forward Foreign Exchange pricing for the Front Office.
Implement full software development lifecycle in a fast paced, front office trading applications development team.
Collaborate with quants and engineers to integrate analytics into internal systems and client-facing platforms.

Preferred Qualities:

Development experience in Python and Data Analytics.
Strong numerical skills with a Math's or Quant background.
Knowledge of trading systems and financial products is desirable.
