The Opportunity:

They’re looking for a Social Media Manager with strong B2B experience to lead organic social strategy and content across client accounts, as well as their own social channels. The role involves planning, creating, and managing standout multi-platform content that drives growth, engagement, and brand awareness for both client brands and the business itself.
Reporting into the Head of Clients, this role blends creativity with strategy. You’ll develop engaging ideas that resonate with professional audiences, while using data-led insights to continually optimise performance. You’ll collaborate with designers, client leads, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality, consistent content across LinkedIn, TikTok, Meta, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
With a client base rooted in enterprise software and B2B technology, social media is treated as a measurable growth channel rather than purely a brand-building exercise. You’ll be expected to build strategies that drive real business outcomes, using social to generate engagement, leads, and long-term ROI.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys seeing tangible results from their work, loves experimenting with new formats, and is passionate about building and growing B2B communities while helping ambitious scale-ups strengthen their online presence.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Strategy & Planning
Build and execute social strategies that deliver measurable business impact driving awareness, engagement, and lead generation for enterprise software and B2B clients.
Translate business objectives into measurable social goals and campaign plans.
Create, maintain and share social calendars - visibility and transparency is key!
Ensure all content aligns with brand voice and strategy.
Present strategy and content to clients.
Content Creation & Management
Plan, write, and publish high-performing content including written, graphic, short-form video, and long-form thought leadership posts.
Work hands-on with platforms such as LinkedIn, TikTok, X, YouTube, and Instagram.
Collaborate with designers and editors to produce engaging visual content optimised for each platform.
Community Growth & Engagement
Build and nurture engaged online communities through proactive audience interaction and timely responses.
Identify influencers, partners, and industry conversations to drive awareness and connection.
Monitor platform trends and competitor activity to keep strategies fresh and relevant.
Performance & Optimisation
Track key metrics (ROI, engagement, reach, follower growth, CTR) and provide actionable insights.
Use analytics to guide creative decisions and demonstrate ROI.
Implement a test-and-learn approach to refine tone, format, and timing.
Collaboration & Cross-Function Support
Work closely with paid media, CRM, and content teams to align social activity with broader marketing campaigns.
Contribute ideas to video, brand, and campaign projects that integrate social channels effectively
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Experience
3+ years’ experience managing social media for B2B, tech, or startup brands (agency-side preferred - multi-account management essential)
Proven success driving measurable growth and engagement across LinkedIn and at least two other platforms.
Content & Creative Skills
Exceptional copywriting and storytelling abilities, with experience creating short-form video and visual content.
Confidence briefing or editing video and graphic design assets (Canva, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
Analytical & Strategic Skills
Experience reporting on social performance and using data to optimise content and audience strategy.
Deep understanding of B2B audiences, algorithms, and content formats that build long-term engagement.
Technical & Platform Knowledge
Strong understanding of what drives engagement across different platforms, with a genuine curiosity to stay ahead of trends and adapt content as platforms evolve.
Comfortable with scheduling and analytics tools such as Sprout, Hootsuite, or native platform dashboards.
Understanding of paid social principles and how organic and paid activity work together.
