Job Specifications

Machine Learning Engineer | Profitable AI Hospitality Platform, Scale-up | 3-4 Days per week Hybrid, London, Up to £100,000

Company

I am working with an exciting AI start-up that are reshaping how hospitality businesses operate. They have created the UK’s largest flexible workforce of hyper-local students, supporting major global brands. Now, they are combining that workforce with advanced AI to create a platform unlike anything else in the market.

Their newly launched AI product has already exceeded £1m ARR in its first 10 months and they are on track to grow that tenfold in the coming year. With rapid expansion across the UK underway, international growth is next starting with an ambitious launch in the US.

Recently the company have signed deals with extremely well known and global brands so are now in the position to grow on the team across all fronts and heavily invest into the Data and Machine Learning Capabilities of the product and company.

Role

You will work within a cross-functional team of researchers, data scientists, and engineers to build the intelligence engines that power decision-making for major UK and international brands. This is a hands-on role where you will move between building demand forecasting models, architecting data pipelines, and deploying solutions into a high-traffic production environment.

You may begin in one area of the codebase, but over time you’ll work across multiple parts of the stack—from backend services to data pipelines and API design.

This is an opportunity for someone who delivers high-quality code quickly, values well-structured architecture and knows when to be pragmatic. You’ll help shape best practices, take on meaningful technical challenges and contribute to the scaling of a platform used across the hospitality industry.
