Purchase Ledger Clerk – 12‑Month FTC

Location: Clackmannanshire (primarily remote)

Salary: £25,600

Eden Scott Accountancy & Finance Division is delighted to be partnering with a respected not‑for‑profit organisation in Clackmannanshire as they look to appoint an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong purchase ledger experience who enjoys working with purpose‑driven organisations and values flexibility in their working week.

Key Responsibilities

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices accurately and efficiently
Matching, batching and coding invoices in line with internal procedures
Managing supplier accounts, ensuring statements are reconciled regularly
Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies or queries
Preparing payment runs and ensuring timely payments to suppliers
Maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month‑end processes
Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure smooth workflow
Supporting the wider finance team with ad‑hoc duties as required

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings:

Strong, hands‑on experience in a purchase ledger or accounts payable role
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Confidence managing high‑volume processing
Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive supplier relationships
Good working knowledge of finance systems and Excel
A proactive, organised approach with the ability to prioritise effectively
