The Opportunity
We are a fast-growing startup looking for a high-caliber, hands-on Finance Analyst for a fixed-term contract. This is a critical dual-focus role: you will be instrumental in managing the core operating finance function while simultaneously acting as a central driver in our major NetSuite ERP implementation and financial restructuring efforts. You will play a key, hands-on role to ensure the new system configuration aligns with business requirements and that our technical accounting and reporting functions stay robust throughout this period of significant organizational change.

Key Responsibilities
1. Financial Reporting & Consolidation (approximately 50%):
Financial Reporting & Consolidation: Lead the month-end close and financial consolidation process for the EMEA / US entities. Ensure high quality and timely reporting to stakeholders.
Audit Coordination: Manage the audit processes of EMEA incorporated entities end-to-end, and ensure that the annual statutory timelines are met.
Treasury & Banking Operations: Banking mandate management and supporting the group treasury process, which include intercompany funding.
External Provider Management: Oversee accounting to ensure quality delivery and compliance.
Adhoc day to day support to the business / Finance.
2. NetSuite Implementation (approximately 50%)
Act as the UK finance representative for the NetSuite ERP rollout, developing the system configuration to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Support relevant implementation workstreams aligned to the BAU deliverables, with activities such as:
Manage data migration, cleansing, and validation from legacy systems to NetSuite.
Design and test workflows for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Project Accounting, General Ledger, and Fixed Assets.
Develop customized reports and dashboards within NetSuite for stakeholders.
Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide training to the wider finance team.
Support post go-live of NetSuite in resolving issues and making enhancements with the NetSuite ACS team.

The Ideal Candidate Profile
Experience & Qualifications:
Experience: Approximately 5 years of experience in finance/accounting or audit roles. Prior experience working with a startup will be an added advantage.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IFRS, in particular revenue recognition and project accounting advantageous.
ERP Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of working with an ERP, including Core Financials (GL, AP, AR), Project Accounting, Fixed Assets, and custom report building, with NetSuite being a plus.
Data Migration & Integrity: Proficiency in data cleansing, mapping, and migrating large datasets from legacy systems into NetSuite using CSV imports or integration tools.
Advanced Excel: Ability to use, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas to reconcile data between the old system and the new one.
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy/Finance or a professional qualification (ACCA, CA, or equivalent).

Process Improvement Lens: A natural inclination to look at a workflow and ask, "How can we automate this in NetSuite?" rather than just replicating manual processes.
Stakeholder Communication: Capable of translating technical system jargon into plain language for the Finance Director or non-finance department heads.
