Mid-Level Backend Engineer - Remote (2 days per month) / London - Up to £60,000 p/y

We're currently looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our client, a tech-enabled security services company protecting some of the UK's most iconic properties (Harrods, luxury car dealerships, high-end retail estates).

They're in the midst of upgrading their flagship product, a 24/7 mission-critical platform supporting national infrastructure, which means proper engineering challenges and real-world impact.

Tech stack :

Kotlin, Python, Terraform, AWS
Bonus if you have any experience with Node or Typescript/JavaScript

What you'll be doing:

Breaking down legacy monolith into an event-driven microservices architecture so they can scale without single point of failure risk
Creating new services to support their growing product family across existing and new markets
Building AI automation to make life easier for your users
