Senior Full Stack Engineer

Hyra is working on behalf of Blue Light Card to hire for the position of Senior Full Stack Engineer. This role involves working within an agile squad to deliver greenfield projects and enhance digital experiences for millions of members. The engineer will focus on platform evolution and feature delivery using a modern serverless architecture.

What you'll be doing

• Deliver technical solutions and design for mid-sized features while contributing to continuous delivery pipelines.

• Drive application improvements through experimentation, A/B testing, and proactive problem-solving.

• Take full ownership of your technical domain and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

• Mentor junior engineers by sharing technical expertise and fostering a learning environment.

• Partner with Product teams to focus on outcomes including personalization and member engagement.

What we're looking for

• Extensive professional experience working with React, Node.js, and TypeScript.

• Proven experience building and deploying serverless applications using the Serverless stack.

• Strong working knowledge of AWS services including Lambda, DynamoDB, Cognito, and Eventbridge.

• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Must have the right to work in the UK and be eligible for security vetting if required.
