Job Specifications

Position: Economics Teacher – AI Trainer

Type: Remote

Compensation: $59 – $111/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 10–40 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver lectures on econometrics, price theory, macroeconomics, and related economics subjects.
Design and develop course materials, including syllabi, assignments, and digital resources for AI-enhanced learning platforms.
Conduct academic or applied economics research and contribute findings to professional publications or media.
Collaborate with AI development teams to improve AI training data using real-world teaching expertise.
Evaluate and grade coursework and research outputs according to academic standards.
Stay updated on developments in economics and AI-enabled education methods.
Foster an inclusive and engaging remote learning environment for students.

Requirements

Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Economics or a closely related field.
Demonstrated experience teaching economics at the postsecondary level.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong instructional clarity.
Proven ability to develop course content for digital and remote learning environments.
Experience conducting and publishing academic or applied research.
Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
Comfort working in a fully remote, technology-driven environment.
Experience with AI, machine learning, or educational technology projects is a plus.
Research or practical experience intersecting economics and digital education is advantageous.
Participation in professional economics or education communities is preferred.
