Job Title: Mainframe SME

Location: Toronto, ON (3x onsite a week)

Employment Type: Contract

Pay Rate: $40/HR INC

Job Description

5-10 years hands on Mainframe skills attained through roles in one or more of the following: z/OS System Programmer, IMS/DB2 DBA, Application programming, Operations, Security Analyst.
Strong understanding of security concepts and methods for: encryption, data protection, system protection, etc.
Competence and skills with: JCL, COBOL, Endeavor, z/OS, Mainview, Debugging tools/methods, performance and tuning, ACF2 and RACF security products.
Strong leadership skills.
3-5 years of incident management experience.
Understanding of and experience in Problem, Incident and Change Management.
Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
Possess very strong customer focus.
Professional approach in your dealings with others.
Excellent problem solving techniques and trouble analysis skills.
Ability to project manage multiple initiatives (making efficient and time decisions to drive progress).
Well organized, with the ability to set priorities and manage time effectively.
Proficient with Microsoft Office tools.
Comfortable presenting reports to team members and/or leaders.
Knowledge of or ability to learn the technical aspects of the infrastructure used to deliver services.
Strong PC skills.
