Overview

We are seeking an experienced Jira Administrator to take ownership of an enterprise Jira platform supporting large-scale engineering teams within a regulated automotive environment.

This is a high-impact role focused on platform stability, workflow optimisation, automation, and tooling integrations to enable Agile and DevOps delivery.

You will be joining a mature engineering function where Jira is business-critical.

Key responsibilities

Administer and optimise Jira, including workflows, schemes, permissions, and automation
Maintain platform performance, security, and access control
Design dashboards and reporting to support engineering and delivery metrics
Integrate Jira with tools such as Confluence, source control, and CI/CD platforms
Enable Agile and DevOps practices across multiple teams
Ensure governance, traceability, and compliance within a regulated environment

Essential experience

Proven experience administering Jira in enterprise environments
Strong hands-on expertise in configuration, workflows, automation, and reporting
Experience supporting engineering or product development teams
Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices

Desirable

Experience in automotive, manufacturing, or other regulated industries
Exposure to DevOps tooling and integrations
