IT Enterprise Architect - Wealth Management

The position involves frequent interactions with Wealth Management and IT teams across multiple international locations. This role corresponds to a full-time equivalent position.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities

As part of the IT Architecture team, you will join a group of Enterprise Architects responsible for the overall information system. Your responsibilities include:

Contribute to the Enterprise Architecture framework by:
Evolving architecture principles, guidelines, and standards.
Maintaining the architecture framework covering processes, capabilities, data, technical aspects, and tools.
Ensuring compliance with the architecture governance process, including project solution validation.
Creating and maintaining Business Blueprints (reference documentation for functional domains).
Defining and maintaining architecture models.
Communicating architecture standards, frameworks, and processes.
Maintain a subset of Business Blueprints by:
Documenting the current-state architecture at a high level.
Defining gaps and target-state visions.
Communicating and training IT teams on these topics.
Updating documentation when impacted by major projects.
Support Solution Architects throughout project design phases by:
Answering architectural questions and providing guidance.
Supporting solution design when required.
Clarifying enterprise or group-level principles and guidelines.
Providing expertise on cross-domain topics.
Coordinating with group-level architects when necessary.
Review project architectures by:
Ensuring design quality and completeness of documentation.
Verifying alignment with architecture principles and target architectures.
Identifying deviations and reviewing remediation plans.
Ensuring reference documentation is updated throughout project changes.
Contribute to IT asset management practices to maintain control of the information system.
Participate in business studies and upstream analysis prior to project launch.
Contribute to IT strategy and ensure alignment with business strategy.

Required Skills And Experience

Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture roles (Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect).
At least 3 years of prior experience as a software developer or technical lead with strong technical foundations.
Broad technical knowledge: strong IT education and experience with development frameworks, applications, and technologies.
Proven experience in Enterprise Architecture disciplines, processes, and best practices.
Experience working on large application ecosystems (30+ applications).
Functional knowledge of banking systems, ideally core banking or portfolio management systems.
Strong experience in architecture and modeling: application mapping, software design models, data models, and infrastructure diagrams.
Experience in vendor selection, RFP processes, and solution evaluation.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; French proficiency is a strong advantage.
Experience with cloud technologies, integration patterns, high availability, REST API design.
Strong leadership, planning, and organizational skills.

Nice to Have

Architecture certifications (TOGAF, Cloud certifications such as AWS or Azure).
Experience in Wealth Management environments.
Technical background with Java, Spring, Angular, Oracle or PostgreSQL databases.
Experience with event-driven architecture.
Experience working in Agile / Scrum environments.

Creation and review of architecture design documents in collaboration with project and cross-functional teams.
Execution of architecture governance processes in line with Wealth Management standards.
Maintenance of reference architecture documentation and application and technology repositories.

Mission Duration

This is a recurring mission, renewable on an annual basis. Architecture activities will be addressed progressively according to the advancement of transformation programs and project priorities defined by management.
