ROLE SUMMARY:
RepoClear is a market-leading REPO clearing service for euro-denominated government bonds within LCH SA (London Stock Exchange Group). Established in 1999 as a clearing service for French government securities and repo trades, the service has since added the Italian, Spanish, German and Belgian markets (2017). In February 2019, RepoClear SA extended its clearing services to eight additional Euro markets, namely: Austrian, Dutch, Finnish, Irish, Portuguese, Slovakian, Slovenian debts and Supranationals. Since then it continues to internalise and diversify its membership through further expansion and hybrid models, while constantly delivering new products to the market.
CaLM is responsible for the management of all collateral arising from member’s margins and default fund contributions. The main objectives of the CaLM function are to:
Invest cash margin from clearing members with the prioritized objectives of Capital Preservation, Liquidity and finally return
Manage liquidity requirements of the CCP (Central Counterparty Clearing House, ie. LCH SA) on a continuous basis
Perform the liquidation of collateral in event of a member default, across all services
The primary functions of this role are:
Drive financial oversight by monitoring performance, managing resources, and supporting strategic planning.
Support the COO and leadership in daily operations.
Lead cross-functional projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and effective governance.
Enhance operational efficiency through process improvements and risk management initiatives.
Foster collaboration and communication across teams and stakeholders, promoting a strong culture and compliance.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Key Responsibilities
Business Governance
Monitor financial performance and provide insights on cost management and resource optimization
Be responsible for month end processes
Ensure BAU support to COO. Support the COO in overseeing day to day business operations, including but not limited to Finance, HR and Team admin
Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements
Develop and track key performance indicators to measure progress and success against established objectives
Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Support programmes to improve culture and behaviours across the CCP
Project Delivery
Support the COO with the execution of transversal projects, ensuring alignment with the business objectives and tracking progress against milestones
Act as a liaison between different department
