Job Specifications

We are looking for a Senior Front-End Developer with strong React expertise to join a collaborative, fast-moving engineering team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves writing clean code, enjoys working closely with other developers, and can help bridge front-end React applications with Java-based back-end services.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to the development of React-based front-end applications
Act as a front-end specialist, supporting and mentoring existing developers
Collaborate closely with backend engineers to integrate React UIs with Java services
Build and enhance digital, customer-facing omnichannel applications
Participate in hands-on coding sessions, technical discussions, and design reviews
Contribute to a highly collaborative engineering culture where developers stay close to the code

Required Qualifications

5–7 years of professional development experience
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on React experience (must be very strong)
Proven experience as a Senior Front-End Developer
Background in fintech, retail tech, or a similar regulated/enterprise environment
Strong JavaScript, HTML, CSS fundamentals
Comfortable working in a hybrid front-end / full-stack environment
Ability to “stitch together” front-end and back-end components effectively
Team-oriented, positive, and genuinely enthusiastic about coding

Nice to Have

Experience with Java (Spring Boot or similar) on the back end
Prior full-stack (Java + React) experience
Exposure to large-scale, customer-facing digital platforms
Experience in omnichannel or retail systems

Work Environment

Hybrid role
Currently 2 days/week onsite
Moving toward 4 days/week onsite (TBD)
Highly collaborative team with developers deeply involved in the code
