Interim Global Director of Service Delivery

Global | 6 months | Inside IR35

We’re supporting a PE-backed global B2B services business to appoint an Interim Global IT Service Delivery Director for a 6-month assignment, reporting into the CIO and engaging closely with SteerCo and PE stakeholders.

The role has end-to-end responsibility for global IT service delivery across 30 countries, 90 studios/functions, and ~15,000 colleagues, leading a senior leadership team of ~10 direct reports.

This is a strategic leadership role focused on stabilising and aligning a globally distributed service function, improving engagement, accountability, and consistency following significant M&A growth.

Key focus areas

Own global IT service delivery and operating model
Lead and support a team of senior service leaders
Improve morale, clarity, and service confidence and NPS
Shape in-house vs outsourced service desk strategy
Oversee infrastructure, cloud, and modern workplace services
Provide clear, structured reporting to CIO, SteerCo, and PE

Background sought

Senior interim with global IT service delivery leadership experience
PE-backed or high-change environments
Strong ITSM / ServiceNow background
Confident operating at the C-suite and board level
