About the Role

Our client is looking for a contract Business Analyst to support the ongoing enhancement of digital capabilities. The focus is on reviewing applications, workflows, and operating processes to improve decision-making, reporting, and stakeholder experience across internal teams.

You will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to understand industry-specific workflows, identify opportunities for improvement, and translate business needs into practical digital and process solutions. This role is well-suited for someone who enjoys working in evolving environments and contributing to meaningful transformation initiatives within asset management.

Key Responsibilities

Review and analyze existing applications, systems, and end-to-end workflows supporting asset management and funds operations
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and understand business priorities
Translate business needs into clear functional documentation, user stories, and process maps
Support the prioritization and delivery of digital enhancements aligned with product growth, market trends, and reporting needs
Provide data and analytical support to inform decision-making and track outcomes
Contribute to governance, documentation, and change management activities to support adoption
Assist in guiding initiatives from discovery through implementation, ensuring alignment with business objectives

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in a Business Analyst or comparable role
Experience supporting digital transformation or finance transformation initiatives
Ability to work autonomously and manage deliverables across multiple stakeholders
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across business and technology teams
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four-year university degree
