About The Role
Please note this is a 12-month FTC**
We are looking to hire a dynamic and creative Art Director to join our in-house Creative Agency.
We believe in disruption, innovation and the application of art and commerce to create the best concepts, big ideas and content creation and execution. You have a deep understanding of brand purpose, beauty, makeup, colour, texture, and products and how to translate them into beautiful assets that's forms 360 campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating digital marketing campaigns and driving innovation through creative across all channels.
Reporting to the Head of Creative, 360 Campaigns whilst working alongside the Creative Director of Image. The successful candidate will oversee the visualisation of creative process from concept through to final execution on their projects. Being the point person within the agency across post-production, production, casting, video & motion graphics, colour, design and the digital design team.
With an entrepreneurial spirit, solutions-oriented and collaborative approach, you will work alongside other creatives, the marketing team, digital team, PR and social, as well as help support efforts in our local markets.
As an Art Director you will
Deliver and inspire award-winning work, really understanding the concept of art & science, leveraging data insights to inform ideas and creativity and execute to highest level throughout
Supporting on campaigns, including concepting and visual ideation, creative concepting & shoot execution (including art direction on shoot days), creative post-production delivering content (across web, email, paid/organic social, video) to the highest quality in terms of consistency of execution
Overseeing creative of digital marketing assets, collaborating with creative agency and marketing teams
Collaborate with the Creative Director, Director of Art, Director of Copy and the Head of Creative on major campaign shoots
Manage ongoing art direction of always on campaigns, as well as coordinate with retouching to manage final delivery of visual assets that execution is met to highest level in form of artistry and finished result with a hands-on approach
Partner with NPD (New Product Development) and The Pro Artists to understand the NPD as well as core range, to understand the products and how to execute shoots
Partner with the marketing team and Creative Directors to contribute to strategic development of a well-defined creative briefs and how to execute them well from a brand POV. Collaborate with teams across NPD, in-store, retail partners, partnerships, local markets and digital product innovation roadmap
Stay on top of the latest in beauty, photography, design and postproduction techniques and developments, and successfully apply them to work practices to help improve processes and procedures
Generate useful, usable ideas across existing and emerging digital platforms and understand look, feel & intention of fast-paced social creative
Ideating campaign extensions with the use of Generative AI within the pre and post-production phases of a campaign
Understand the pipeline of projects and campaigns across the business
Who You Will Work With
Reporting into the Head of Creative, 360 Campaigns
About You
Experience working as an Art Director in the beauty or luxury fashion space, with incredible attention to detail
Experience on set with models and still life for both stills and video, confident in lightning techniques, angles and on set direction
Highly skilled in range of the Adobe Creative Suite (Ideally but not limited to) Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, AfterEffects.
It is key to show a strong understanding of typography, colour and layout, as well as knowledge
