Frontend Software Developer - React - TypeSccript - JavaScript - x2 days in the office per week required - Central London office location. Miller Maxwell is assisting an FX brokerage in expanding their UI team, working from their central London headquarters. The successful Frontend Software Developer will play a pivotal role in the design and development of their core FX platform for electronic software. As a Frontend Software Engineer, you will be instrumental in defining and building dashboards and UIs utilised by users across the business, from front to back-end. The electronic trading platform facilitates the trading of billions of dollars. You will join a highly experienced software engineering team with members based in Chicago, Hong Kong, and London.

Key Responsibilities for the Frontend Software Developer:

Contribute to the design and development of new software and new products.
Build and adapt JavaScript libraries for high-performance browser usage.
Develop and maintain applications.
Design and develop UI's for clients internally used products.
Collaborate with stakeholders across the business.
Suggest and implement new ideas into the code base.

Requirements for the Frontend Software Developer:

A degree in a STEM-related subject.
At least 5 years of commercial frontend development experience.
Experience with JavaScript, with React - TypeScript.
Proficiency in HTML and CSS and ideally Python.
Proven experience building robust high-volume software, web and software applications.
Strong communication skills.
An eye for design is a plus.
