We're supporting an early‑stage tech‑for‑good startup with a strong sustainability mission, now looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join at a pivotal stage. What You’ll Be Doing as a Senior Software Engineer:

Building and scaling core backend and API features
Rapidly developing MVPs for new ideas and adjacent product opportunities
Working closely with users and adapting product decisions based on real feedback
Leading architectural direction and contributing to long‑term technical strategy
Supporting integration engineering as the platform evolves

What They’re Looking For:

Solid experience building REST APIs and backend services in Node.js
Strong background in TypeScript and React
Exposure to systems architecture
A product‑minded approach with the ability to challenge ideas, prioritise effectively, and think about user impact
A self‑starter who is curious and ideally has side projects
Interest in AI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code, etc.)
Bonus: experience with distributed systems or observability

The Package:

Salary up to £100,000
