STRUCTURAL ANALYST ENGINEER

Location:

Hybrid, 3 days on site per week

Clearances Required:

CGP (Controlled Goods Program)
Reliability Clearance

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with a multi‑disciplinary engineering team to develop state‑of‑the‑art robotics.

• Be part of a design team to evaluate, numerically, analytically and/or experimentally, the stiffness, strength and durability of the structure of robotic, nuclear and medical products.

• Size components, identify problem areas, propose design modifications or improvements, and subsequently approve the mechanical design.

• Support manufacturing and validate the mechanical design by conducting mechanical tests on product hardware according to the mechanical loading environment.

• Generate analysis reports and create mechanical test plans and reports.

• Investigate problems and failures during development and test.

Candidate Requirements

Must‑Haves:

• Nastran

• Dynamic analysis

• Thermal stress

Nice‑to‑Have:

• Crack growth / NASGRO

• CAD tools such as NX or CATIA

• Space industry experience

Soft Skills:

• Good communication
