Citadel Source are delighted to be supporting a growing business in recruiting a Management Accountant. This is a key role within a high-performing finance team, helping to scale and professionalise the finance function.

The role

We are seeking a proactive and commercially-minded Management Accountant to join the finance team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract offering an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced, operationally focused business.

As a Management Accountant, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Preparation of monthly management accounts and variance analysis
Budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow monitoring
Supporting month-end and year-end reporting processes
Assisting with KPI reporting and financial analysis for business units
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting of financial information to senior management
Identifying process improvements to strengthen controls and efficiency
Supporting the wider finance team with ad hoc projects and tasks as needed

What the client is looking for

Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar financial reporting role
Strong understanding of accounting principles and management accounting processes
Proficiency with accounting/ERP systems
Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capability
High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

What the client offers

Salary: £45,000–£55,000 per annum
12-month fixed-term contract
