Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Mississauga, ON, for a Lead Java Developer. The Lead Java Developer will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of software solutions, lead a team of developers, and ensure best practices are followed across the software development lifecycle. Primary responsibilities include developing and optimizing Java-based applications, implementing microservices architecture, ensuring system performance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative technical solutions on time.

Qualifications

Proficiency in Software Development, Programming, and Java
Experience with Microservices and implementing scalable systems
Strong expertise in using the Spring Framework for application development
Ability to lead a team effectively and communicate technical concepts clearly
Familiarity with cloud services and deployment is a plus
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant field
5+ years of experience in Java development, with 2+ years in a leadership role
