We have an immediate requirement for a Cabling Project Manager with one of our direct clients in Rancho Cucamonga, CA United States.

Contract t and Hybrid position.

Need to work on W2 only

Duration: 1 - 2 years/ 6 months shortest

Top 3 required skills:

Have experience in managing fiber optic or digital cabling.
Experience with school districts K-12 or sled and network management. network hardware with WLAN/LAN. Experience installing UPS and camera installations. Prefers LAUSD experience.
LAUSD or K-12 Experience required
PNP Preferred

Min of 5 years experience

proficient in network design - plus

Leadership communication/ social skills

Multiple project - fast pace

Remote/onsite: Hybrid but some days will be onsite - but must be onsite every Monday for an in person ( every Monday- if they go in may not be every Monday)

meeting location - LAUSD - 2155 Soto street LA - main site/ unless they mandate this job site - has been remote .

First 2 days of training will be at Rancho office 9000 Rochester Ave #150, Rancho Cucamonga 91730

Work schedule:

Flexible 8am - 5/6pm

Interview process:

1st interview with peer, potential 2nd interview with client onsite at 2155 Soto street LA

Interviews - teams are fine / preferred in person if they can make it.

30 - 45 min (about two a day) (10-11am T/TH example)

Potential to convert to FTE:

possibility - looking for talent if available

Potential to extend: Extension depending on what is going on ?

Team Dynamic:

Day to day/what project they will be working on: project plans/ scheduling / face to face meeting/ meetings with internal sales team - throughout the week / immediate response to client/ cannot be sitting on request/ understand questions and get team involved

No direct reports

certified scrum master/ will have to see certs

60% project based 40% technical - slight understanding what in the project scope / dont have to be very technical would be a plus / UPS - MANAGING (CCNA,CCNP, CISCO Certs) but for them to know the tech person.

LAUSD - Not the same day twice / team goes out and does the work / get daily updates - what they did that day

Targeted start date: within the next month or two - pending start date on project Cabling Project Manager

Tracking details of the project/ stage - burn in equipment/ expedite equipment/ meeting with vendor weekly

Type of project - 2024 - installing/test and acceptance

Responding to districts within an hour max

Platforms: smartsheets/excel/sharepoint

LAUSD - Plus/ K-12 - Plus

DOJ Background check must be cleared
