Job Title: Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 2 days onsite per week)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $30–$39/hour
Duration: Open-Ended Contract
Position Summary
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support business leaders and team members within designated business units. The HRBP serves as a strategic partner and consultant on human resources-related matters, aligning HR strategies with business objectives.
This role acts as a change agent and employee champion, proactively assessing HR needs and collaborating with HR Centers of Excellence (COEs) to deliver integrated HR solutions. The ideal candidate possesses strong business acumen, including an understanding of financial performance, operational strategy, organizational culture, and competitive landscape.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a change agent supporting organizational design, restructuring initiatives, employee engagement, and workforce transitions
Partner with business leaders to drive effective hiring, onboarding, and retention strategies that support a diverse workforce
Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence (Talent Acquisition, Compensation, Learning & Development, etc.) to implement integrated HR solutions
Provide coaching and guidance on performance management, talent reviews, succession planning, and performance improvement plans
Identify training and development needs and coordinate with Learning & Development to deliver appropriate programs
Align culture, total rewards, performance strategies, and recognition programs with business objectives
Analyze HR metrics and workforce data to identify trends and recommend actionable solutions
Lead and contribute to cross-functional HR projects and initiatives
Support communication and implementation of new or updated HR policies, programs, and processes
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and internal HR policies
Supervisory Responsibilities
May participate in interviewing, hiring, training, and performance evaluation processes
Plan, assign, and direct work activities as needed
Address employee relations matters and resolve workplace concerns
Support disciplinary actions and performance management processes
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
4–6 years of progressive Human Resources experience
Healthcare industry experience preferred
Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance, and HR best practices
Experience in talent acquisition, compensation, organizational development, performance management, employee relations, diversity and inclusion, and workforce planning
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret HR data and metrics
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management skills
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid and complex team environment
Preferred Qualifications
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification
