Job Title: Project Manager / Leader
Location: Toronto, ON
Pay Rate: CAD$90/Hr - CAD$100/Hr
Role Summary:
Experienced Project Manager to lead multiple complex, cross-functional IT projects through the full project lifecycle. Responsible for planning, governance, risk management, stakeholder engagement, and successful delivery of enterprise solutions, including data and analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end delivery of multiple technical projects (initiation to closeout).
Develop and maintain project charters, integrated project plans, schedules, budgets, and communication plans.
Lead risk and issue management, providing mitigation strategies and executive-level reporting.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including business analysts, developers, QA, and designers.
Manage release planning, Go/No-Go checkpoints, and deployment activities.
Maintain product backlogs and support Agile and Waterfall SDLC methodologies.
Prepare business cases and executive reports; present to senior leadership and steering committees.
Ensure compliance with organizational governance, procurement, and contractual processes.
Required Experience & Skills
10+ years of IT project management experience delivering large-scale, complex technical initiatives.
Strong expertise in PMI standards, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
Proven experience managing budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation.
Hands-on experience with Jira, Confluence, and enterprise project management tools.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and executive presentation skills.
Experience coordinating multi-team releases and managing enterprise-wide deployments.
Knowledge of data analytics, ETL, BI solutions, and dashboard development (Power BI preferred).
Experience with cloud platforms (Azure preferred) and near real-time data solutions.
Background in public safety, dispatch systems, telephony/radio technologies, or triage systems is an asset
