SAP Technical Expert (CRM) - Brussels - 12 months

Our important client is currently looking for a SAP Technical Expert (CRM) for a 12-month contract based in Brussels. Day rate is negotiable.

Please find the description:

We are looking for an experienced SAP Technical Expert to join the Process & Functional Support team within CRM. You will play a key role in the development, integration, and support of SAP CRM applications and related data solutions.

You will work closely with functional analysts, developers, and enterprise architects to design, build, and improve a robust CRM platform, ensuring high performance, reliability, and scalability.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop interfaces between SAP CRM and legacy systems using SAP CPI and IDocs
Translate functional requirements into clear technical designs and specifications
Contribute to continuous improvement and consolidation of the existing CRM platform
Perform SAP CRM customization and enhancements
Analyse incidents and change requests, propose solutions, and implement fixes
Take end-to-end ownership of developments, enhancements, and bug fixes
Act as a technical reference point for the enterprise architect with a strong overview of the system architecture
Provide high-quality functional and technical application support on a day-to-day basis

Required Skills & Experience

Ability to analyse functional requirements and convert them into SAP technical solutions
Minimum 8 years of project experience in SAP CRM

Strong expertise in:

BSP Components Workbench
BOL/GENIL
CRM upgrade transactions
Minimum 5 years’ experience with SAPUI5 / Fiori development
Experience using ADT (Eclipse)

Proven experience with:

SAP data services
Web services, OData
Data exchange formats and protocols (SOAP, XML, JSON, REST)
Strong knowledge of best practices for reusable and maintainable code

Hands-on experience with:

ABAP Workbench, ABAP OO
Workflow, IDoc, ALV Grid
WebDynpro ABAP

Fluent in French and/or Dutch, with good knowledge of English
Willing to work minimum 2 days per week in Brussels
