Role Description

This is a contract-based, on-site Bilingual Nurse Trainer role situated in Ottawa, ON. The Bilingual Nurse Trainer will be responsible for providing hands-on training to clinical staff, demonstrating the use and functionalities of EmergConnect's platform. The role includes facilitating effective onboarding, assisting in troubleshooting, and supporting staff with system implementation. Additionally, the Bilingual Nurse Trainer will work closely with hospitals and healthcare providers to ensure seamless system adoption, while maintaining open communication with the EmergConnect team for feedback and improvements.

Qualifications

Proficiency in both English and French, with excellent verbal and written communication skills in both languages.
Experience in a healthcare environment with an emphasis on nursing practices, clinical workflows, and patient care protocols.
Ability to deliver effective training, including planning learning sessions, utilizing training tools/materials, and supporting trainees during onboarding.
Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, and troubleshooting skills, including technical acumen for navigating healthcare software and systems.
Experience working with electronic medical records systems is an asset.
Familiarity with the Canadian healthcare system, including emergency department processes, is highly preferred.
Adaptability and organizational skills to manage training schedules and multiple tasks effectively on-site.

Start Date: March 1 (urgent)

Contract: 1 month (with potential extension)

Availability: Full-time engagement required, especially during the first two weeks of March
