AI Agent Product Manager, London/Hybrid, 6 months, Market Rates (Inside IR35)

Details of the role and how it fits into the team

Support the Technology, Data and Innovation (TDI) division as an AI Agent Product Manager in the Applied Innovation Tribe. This pivotal role is part of a forward-deployed unit seeding multiple Agent Factories, placing you at the heart of building next-generation AI Process and Control Agents. Centrally located within the AI Programme, your mission is to work closely with factory-specific AI Acceleration Leads, steering projects from concept to reality.

Your key responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of AI Agents, acting as the key interface between business stakeholders, AI Acceleration Leads, and the technical team.
Take full ownership of the agent/system backlog: break down requirements into epics and user stories, meticulously plan sprints, and steer implementation and reporting preparation.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies to drive project execution, championing the adoption of agentic and generative AI to build robust solutions.
Collaborate closely with the engineering team to align technical implementation with the agent system vision, and define/monitor KPIs to measure impact across POC, development, and transition into production.

Your skills and experiences

Core Experience:

A minimum of 5–7 years of professional experience as a Technical Product Owner, Product Manager, or Agile Practitioner, with at least the last 2 years focused on AI projects.

Proven Track Record:

Demonstrable experience delivering AI Agent or Agentic Systems projects end-to-end within an agile (Scrum) setup.

Key Skills:

Solid understanding of agentic AI, generative AI, and the agent development lifecycle.
Expertise in agile practices, especially backlog management (epics, user stories).
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills.
Strategic mindset with a focus on detailed execution and data-driven decisions.
Knowledge of AI development tools; experience with Google ADK is highly preferred.

Languages:

Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in reading/understanding German is a great bonus!
