What You Will Do
Technical Analysis & Development
Perform end-to-end technical analysis (input/output/processing) for Mainframe-based banking applications.
Develop, maintain, and optimize applications using COBOL, DB2, IMS, GTMS, JCL, and EdZ.
Design and implement technical solutions for RUN & Change activities.
Ensure application stability, performance optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Troubleshoot and resolve production incidents in collaboration with DevOps, Infrastructure, and Business teams.
Contribute to middleware and API integrations using MQ, z/OS Connect, and SOAP, enabling seamless communication between Mainframe and modern systems.
Knowledge Transfer & Collaboration
Work closely with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Term Deposit systems to ensure effective knowledge transfer.
Document technical processes, architecture, and best practices to support long-term maintainability.
Support smooth transitions of critical knowledge ahead of SME departure.
Actively participate in Agile ceremonies (refinement, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Promote continuous improvement and collaboration within the squad.
What You Will Bring
Strong hands-on experience with Mainframe technologies (COBOL, DB2, IMS, JCL).
Experience working in core banking environments, preferably with Term Deposit or similar banking products.
Solid understanding of technical analysis (functional requirements to technical design).
Experience handling both production support (RUN) and enhancement projects (Change).
Exposure to middleware and integration technologies such as MQ, z/OS Connect, SOAP APIs.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Excellent documentation and knowledge-sharing capabilities.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
