Employer: UK-based Data Consultancy delivering modern cloud solutions for enterprise clients

Contract: 3 months (with potential extension)

Location: Reading / Hybrid (UK-based)

Role Summary:

Join client projects to help enterprise organisations modernise their data platforms. Hands-on work with GCP to build and maintain scalable pipelines, warehouses, and transformation layers. Ideal for someone with strong GCP skills who enjoys delivering practical, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities:

Build and optimise GCP data pipelines
Maintain BigQuery warehouses for analytics and reporting
Implement transformations using dbt
Orchestrate workflows with Airflow
Support platform migrations and modernisation
Apply engineering best practices, version control, and CI/CD
Document solutions and contribute to technical discussions
Collaborate with client teams on scalable solutions

Essential Experience:

Hands-on GCP data platform experience
Proficiency in BigQuery
dbt experience in enterprise environments
Airflow workflow orchestration
Exposure to a mix of industry backgrounds

Desirable Experience:

Consultancy or multi-client delivery experience
Input into platform design and architecture
Experience in regulated or complex environments
