Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Scrum Master with 10+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years dedicated to Scrum Master responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be a servant leader who drives Agile maturity, facilitates high-performing teams, removes impediments, and ensures consistent delivery of business value. This role requires strong stakeholder management, coaching expertise, and the ability to lead multiple cross-functional Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
· Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and Agile best practices.
· Facilitate all Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Grooming.
· Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile mindset and frameworks.
· Identify and remove impediments that impact sprint commitments and delivery timelines.
· Track and communicate team performance metrics such as velocity, burn-down, burn-up, cycle time, and sprint predictability.
· Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a prioritized and well-refined product backlog.
· Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on retrospective feedback.
· Manage dependencies across teams and coordinate with other Scrum Masters.
· Promote self-organization and accountability within teams.
· Support release planning, roadmap alignment, and stakeholder communications.
· Mentor junior Scrum Masters and contribute to organizational Agile transformation efforts.
· Ensure alignment with DevOps, CI/CD, and quality engineering practices.
Required Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
· 10+ years of overall IT industry experience.
· 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master in Agile environments.
· Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Lean).
· Experience facilitating multiple cross-functional teams.
· Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Rally, or equivalent.
· Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM I/II, SAFe Agilist, or equivalent certification.
Experience working in scaled Agile environments (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based environments.
Prior experience in software development, QA, or project management.
Experience in enterprise-level Agile transformation initiatives.
