Position Summary:

Bold Orange is seeking a curious, proactive, and highly organized Business Development Intern to support our agency growth efforts. This role is built for someone who likes moving fast, creating structure, and doing the detailed work that helps a business development team stay sharp and keep pipeline moving.

You’ll support prospect research, outreach preparation, CRM organization, and proposal support, and will be expected to actively bring forward AI-driven efficiency solutions throughout these efforts. This is not a “watch and learn” internship. You will contribute real work, build repeatable processes, and help our team operate smarter.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

Research and identify potential new business opportunities across key industries and categories
Build and maintain clean prospect lists, including key contacts, roles, and relevant context
Draft outbound messaging and follow-up sequences for review and refinement
Support pitch and proposal development by pulling relevant case studies, credentials, and POV content
Maintain accurate CRM data including contact records, notes, stages, tasks, and next steps
Track outreach activity and pipeline movement, summarize weekly progress for the team, and proactively bring forward AI-driven workflow improvements (new tools, prompts, or automations) that make our business development process faster and more consistent
Support coordination of internal follow-ups to ensure opportunities don’t stall or get dropped

Required Qualifications & Experience:

Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (or recently graduated) in Business, Marketing, Communications, Economics, or a related field
Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and able to manage multiple tasks without dropping the ball
Proactive, resourceful, and comfortable taking initiative without being micromanaged
Curiosity and interest in customer experience, digital marketing, and/or CRM-driven growth

Nice to Have:

Previous agency, marketing, or sales-related internship experience
Familiarity with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)
Experience with outreach tools or prospecting platforms (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, etc.)
