About the role:

The Cyber Security department at Technip Energies serves as the internal center of excellence, responsible for defining, implementing, and enforcing security across the entire enterprise, covering both IT and critical Operational Technology (OT) environments across our global footprint. We manage the entire cyber security lifecycle, including Cyber Risk Management, Compliance and Assurance, Cyber Security Architecture and Engineering, Security Operations, Cyber Awareness as well as active role in delivering solutions to our customers.

Cybersecurity platform engineer

The Cybersecurity Platform Engineer is a critical role responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle management of our cybersecurity solutions. This includes identifying, evaluating, deploying, and maintaining security technologies to protect the organization from evolving cyber threats. As a platform owner, you will be the subject matter expert for specific security domains, ensuring our solutions are configured and operated in alignment with cybersecurity best practices, internal policies, and vendor recommendations.

The Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering department establishes and delivers Cyber Security reference architectures for IT and OT domains, ensuring the alignment with business needs and is responsible for performing comprehensive cybersecurity reviews of IT and OT architectures and solutions. In addition it is responsible for designing and delivering security solutions for both IT and OT domains.

The role can be based in our office in Paris with the possibility of hybrid remote working.

Responsibilities

Solution Lifecycle Management: Own the full lifecycle of assigned security platforms, from initial assessment and selection to deployment and operations and its development over the time (responsible of the roadmap)
Technology Identification & Evaluation: Research, evaluate and select new security technologies and solutions to address emerging threats and gaps in our security posture
Platform Deployment & Integration: Architect, deploy, and integrate security solutions within the existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless operation and minimal disruption
Configuration & Hardening: Define detailed configuration parameters for security platforms, aligning with established cybersecurity frameworks, internal policies, and vendor best practices to maximize their effectiveness
Adoption & Support: Drive the adoption and maintenance of security tools and solution acting as SME (Subject Matter Expert) by providing training and support to internal operational teams. Act as the primary point of contact for technical issues and escalations related to the platforms you own
Threat & Risk Reduction: Utilize platform capabilities to proactively identify and mitigate security risks across the organization
Define KPI and KRI: Define Key Performance Indicators and Key Risk Indicators for measuring the effectiveness of the specific solution in terms of performance and risk reduction in a specific domain. Support the definition and publication of specific report
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive and up-to-date documentation for all security platforms, including architecture diagrams, configuration settings, and operational procedures

Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity engineering or a similar role.
