About the Role

For one of our key partners in the pharmaceutical sector near Brussels, we are looking for an Electrical Project Engineer to strengthen the project engineering department.

You will oversee electrical projects from design to commissioning, ensuring that technical solutions meet operational, regulatory, and safety expectations in a highly regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electrical Project Engineer, you will:

Lead electrical projects from concept through commissioning
Translate user needs into technical specifications
Review, validate, or create electrical design documentation (LV/MV distribution, instrumentation, automation per project scope)
Coordinate with internal stakeholders such as process, automation, QA, maintenance, and engineering teams.
Manage suppliers: RFQs, technical comparisons, equipment follow‑up, FAT/SAT
Ensure full compliance with local standards, internal quality requirements, and safety rules
Support site activities including testing, commissioning, and qualification phases
Oversee HSE aspects related to electrical installations.

Your Profile

You hold a Bachelor's or Master’s degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electromechanics, Energy, or related discipline
You have a minimum of 5 years experience in electrical engineering or project management in an industrial environment
Experience in the pharmaceutical or other highly regulated industries is a strong asset
You have a good knowledge of belgian electrical norms and applicable regulations
You have a strong analytical mindset and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.

Technical Skills

You are an expert in industrial electrical systems (LV, optionally MV)
You are able to read and draft electrical schematics
You coordinate on the field and follow the contractors
You know the electrical safety standards (RGIE, IEC…).
Familiarity with regulated environments (pharma, biotech, food…) is a plus.

You act autonomously and proactively
You are organized and able to prioritize your tasks
Solution‑oriented mindset
Excellent teamwork and communication

Languages

You are fluent in both French and English.
