Senior AI/ML Engineer

Early-Stage Robotics Startup | Paris (Hybrid) |

€100–150k + Equity

We’re partnering with a seed-stage robotics startup in Paris that’s building next-generation intelligent robots powered by advanced AI. This is a foundational engineering role where you’ll shape both the AI and robotics architecture from the ground up.

As a Staff AI/ML Engineer, you’ll design and deploy the core AI and robotics systems that power intelligent behavior, perception, and planning in cutting-edge robots. You’ll work closely with the founders and robotics engineers to integrate large language models (LLMs), vision-language models (VLMs/VLAs), and high-performance GPU programming into production-ready robotic systems.

You’ll have a direct impact on product, architecture, and AI research integration, with real ownership over the full stack of robotics intelligence.

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and optimize GPU-accelerated ML pipelines for real-time robot perception and reasoning
Build and train vision-language models (VLMs/VLAs) for multimodal robot understanding
Integrate LLM-driven reasoning and planning into autonomous robotics systems
Collaborate with robotics engineers to deploy AI models onto edge devices and robots
Contribute to MLOps practices and scalable AI infrastructure for robotics
Explore cutting-edge AI research and translate it into practical, real-world robotic applications

Bonus if you have:

Experience with robotics stacks (ROS, ROS2, Isaac SDK)
Background in simulation or hardware-in-the-loop testing
Prior work at early-stage startups
