Location: Bristol, Somerset, BS483 | Salary: £50,000 annual

Hyra is working on behalf of Platform Recruitment Limited to hire for the position of Junior Embedded Engineer. This role involves developing software for embedded systems within a high-performance engineering team. The successful candidate will contribute to technical projects while benefiting from a collaborative environment focused on knowledge sharing.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining embedded software using C

• Collaborating with the engineering team on system design

• Testing and debugging code on hardware platforms

• Participating in technical reviews and knowledge sharing sessions

• Supporting the full software development lifecycle

What we're looking for

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field

• Proficiency in C programming for embedded systems

• Understanding of microcontrollers and hardware peripherals

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities

• Must have the right to work in the UK
