Technology Program Manager (TPM) – Infrastructure & AI Programs (Contingent Worker)
itD is seeking a Technology Program Manager (TPM) to support Company’s Scaled Operations (SO) organization by leading large-scale Infrastructure and AI programs that transform operational workflows. This role plays a critical part in improving the health, integrity, and scalability of Company’s community support systems through automation, AI integration, and advanced technology solutions.
The ideal candidate brings strong technical program leadership experience, thrives in ambiguous problem spaces, and has a proven track record of driving cross-functional initiatives across Engineering, Product, Operations, and external partners.
Location: On-site only — Sunnyvale, CA (US)
Start Date: ASAP (targeting March 2026)
Duration: Through 12/31, with potential extension up to full tenure

Responsibilities
Lead medium to large-scale Infrastructure and AI programs to improve operational efficiency within Scaled Operations.
Deeply understand system architectures, integration points, and operational workflows across Company’s community support products, processes, and policies.
Analyze, map, and redesign complex operational workflows to identify pain points and opportunities for AI-driven automation.
Drive end-to-end program execution across analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation phases.
Architect scalable and compliant automation solutions by leading technical design discussions across Infrastructure and Security domains.
Partner closely with Engineering, Product, Operations, and Vendor teams to ensure alignment, execution, and on-time delivery.
Track, analyze, and report on key operational metrics and business impact to guide prioritization and optimization.
Solve complex, ambiguous business problems by providing data-driven recommendations for process, policy, and product improvements.
Develop playbooks, reusable templates, and best practices to scale successful automation initiatives across Scaled Operations.
Internal Responsibilities
Attend regular internal practice community meetings.
Collaborate with your itD practice team on industry thought leadership.
Complete client case studies and learning material (blogs, media material).
Build out material to contribute to the Digital Transformation practice.
Attend internal itD networking events (in person and virtual).
Work with leadership on career fast-track opportunities.
Required Qualifications And Skills
7+ years of experience leading medium to large-scale technology solution implementations, particularly in automation, AI, or advanced infrastructure domains.
Strong strategic thinking skills with demonstrated experience solving complex, ambiguous problems.
Proven ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams while remaining highly organized and detail-oriented.
Experience managing cross-functional programs in medium to large organizations.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts and their application to business process optimization.
Solid understanding of software development processes and best practices.
Experience working with project and issue tracking systems.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and align diverse stakeholder groups.
Preferred Qualifications And Skills
Hands-on experience managing AI efficiency or automation programs.
Experience partnering closely with Engineering, Product Security, or Infrastructure teams.
Background in server architecture, cloud infrastructure, SaaS platforms, or product management.
Experience with cloud architecture.
Hands-on experience with AI coding tools (e.g., Cursor, GitHub Copilot, Codeium).
Exposure to deep learning, neural networks, or agentic workflows.
Experience with data visualization tools.
Prior experience working in a technology company or consulting environment.
Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations, or a related technical field.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant technical field required; advanced degree preferred.
