Job Specifications
Our client is seeking an experienced Cloud Architect to support the continued build-out and modernization of a secure, multi-cloud environment. This role is to migrate systems, design scalable cloud architectures, and implement best-practice cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud platforms.
The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong communication skills, and hands-on experience designing and deploying enterprise-scale cloud solutions in complex environments.
Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and support scalable, secure, and cost-effective cloud architectures across multi-cloud and hybrid environments
Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for enterprise systems
Collaborate with security and network teams on firewall configurations, routing, and compliance requirements
Apply cloud architecture best practices to deliver flexible, resilient solutions
Develop and maintain architecture diagrams and technical documentation
Implement automated deployments using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies
Serve as a subject matter expert, advising technical teams and executive stakeholders
Identify and recommend improvements to technical standards and cloud practices
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
10+ years of experience architecting, designing, and implementing enterprise cloud solutions
10+ years of experience translating business requirements into scalable technical architectures
Proven track record leading cloud migration and modernization initiatives
Extensive experience with hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, including hybrid converged datacenters
11–15 years of experience conveying complex technical and functional concepts to technical and executive stakeholders
11–15 years of experience producing clear, comprehensive technical documentation
Technical Skills
Deep expertise in major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), including compute, storage, networking, databases, and security services
Design and implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions across enterprise environments
Hybrid and multi-cloud architecture design and integration
Cost optimization, risk assessment, and mitigation planning for cloud infrastructure
Strong networking fundamentals, including VPCs, subnets, load balancing, DNS, and firewall configurations
Infrastructure automation and scripting using Python, PowerShell, and Bash
Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, and ARM templates
CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices supporting automated deployments
Containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes
Monitoring and observability using tools such as CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana

AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Google Professional Cloud Architect
