Buckden Partners has been mandated by our a specialist real estate investment management client focused on real estate lending and development finance across the UK and Europe.

They partner with institutional capital, lenders, and sponsors to originate, structure, and actively manage investments across a range of real estate strategies and capital structures.

The Opportunity

Seeking an Analyst to join the Asset Management function.

The role offers exposure across multiple asset classes including:

Single Family Housing
Office
Purpose-Built Student Accommodation (PBSA)
Self-Storage

You will work directly on the execution and optimisation of asset-level business plans, supporting the active management of investments from underwriting through to realisation.

This is a high-responsibility role within a lean, entrepreneurial team. The successful candidate will be expected to take ownership early and contribute meaningfully to investment performance.

Core Responsibilities

Supporting the execution of asset-level business plans across a diversified portfolio.
Monitoring asset performance against underwriting assumptions; identifying risks and value creation opportunities.
Building and maintaining robust financial models, including downside and sensitivity analysis.
Supporting underwriting and structuring of new investments.
Preparing investment committee materials and investor reporting.
Working closely with sponsors, operators, lenders, and advisers to ensure delivery of strategy.
Supporting portfolio-level monitoring, capital management, and governance processes.

Candidate Profile

We are looking for a high-calibre, commercially minded individual with:

1–2 years’ experience in real estate, investment, advisory, or finance (exceptional graduates considered).
Strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
A clear understanding of real estate investment fundamentals.

Personal Characteristics

A self-starter who is comfortable operating with autonomy.
Intellectually curious and motivated to deepen technical and commercial expertise.
Proactive, accountable, and execution-focused.
Comfortable in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.

This role is suited to someone who wants early exposure to investment decision-making and asset-level value creation within an active investment management platform.
