Marketing Lead

London – Hybrid working - 3-4 days a week in the office

My client is a high growth, award winning fintech scale transforming the way SME businesses can access flexible financial lending solutions. They are entering an exciting time of growth of the back of a large round of VC Funding secured in December 2025.

My client owns 2 successful brands in the market:

4yr old profitable lender, brilliant reputation for speed & efficiency of lending solutions distributed via partners, brokers & direct to business owners. Continued YoY growth with aspirations to grow product portfolio and particularly direct to SME channel

18 month old lender, built to manage different level of cliental to the above with alternative lending solutions. Huge disrupter in the market – Tech advances, speed & network allowed them to hit 400% of projected lending in 2025 so large focus on growth for 2026

They have an award winning SLT team & we are looking for 1st senior marketing hire to work directly with Chief Strategy Officer & CEO to build and execute a marketing strategy for both brands.

Focus of the role:

Develop & Build marketing plan which aligns to business objectives – Focused on lending acquisition, brand awareness, thought leadership
Focus on building successful brand for both entities – Ensuring education, attraction & clarity in the market to help the lending book grow
Work closely with Board & SLT to pitch new marketing suggestions, proof of concept & budget to support
ROI marketing approach – We are looking for someone to focus on the ‘ results’ from the marketing activity we are doing. This is critical within a scale up
Management and Mentorship of a team of 3 – Giving them clear direction and opportunity to develop
Drive acquisition with SME business owners directly ( Priority for business in 2026) alongside partner marketing to continue generation of leads from partners.

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience in B2B marketing, preferably in fintech, payments, or financial services.
Proven track record in driving demand generation, managing teams, and delivering measurable business results.
Strong experience in digital marketing, content strategy, and events.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
