Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid role for a Junior or Intermediate DevOps Engineer based in London, Ontario, with some flexibility for remote work. The successful candidate will assist in designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure and automation pipelines. Responsibilities include supporting continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes, monitoring system performance, troubleshooting issues, improving system reliability, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance development and operations workflows.
Qualifications
Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
Proficiency in CI/CD tools and pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions).
Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation and task optimization.
Familiarity with containerization tools (e.g., Docker) and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
Understanding of system monitoring tools, logging, and performance metrics analysis.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex systems effectively.
Excellent communication and collaboration aptitude to work within cross-functional teams.
Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) is an advantage.
