About Lever
We're a personal branding agency - but not the kind you're thinking of.
We work with some of the most ambitious founders, CEOs, and entrepreneurs on the planet to build their personal brands and online presence. LinkedIn, instagram, newsletters, podcasts, and beyond. We're selective about who we work with - we don't take on everyone who comes to us. We choose founders we genuinely believe in, people doing exceptional work who we want to go on a journey with.
Our team is small, sharp, and obsessed with quality. We run a pod system - Brand Managers, Content Writers, and Designers working together to deliver work that clients genuinely credit with changing their business. We've had founders tell us their LinkedIn became their number one source of inbound. That's the standard we hold ourselves to.
We've grown accounts to 1.5M+ followers across platforms. We've generated over £10M for our clients directly from their personal brand. We've built newsletters from scratch that now reach tens of thousands. And there's still a lot more we want to do.
But this is what really sets us apart: the people.
We've built a culture where everyone's ambitious but no one's an ego.
We back each other, we challenge each other, and we genuinely enjoy working together.
Founded by Chris Donnelly, Nader Alnajjar, and Thomas Pearce - up until now, we've been the ones putting the business out there. But we've reached a point where we need someone dedicated to documenting our journey, building our audience, and showing the world what goes on behind the scenes at Lever. That's where we want you to come in.
You'll work alongside some of the sharpest minds in personal branding - people who do this every single day for a living. You'll learn a skill set that very few marketers get exposure to, and you'll be applying it to grow something that's yours to own.
The Role
This is a solo marketing lead role, reporting directly to the founder. You'll own LeverBrands' marketing channel - our socials, our email, our events, our content, our reputation.
You’ll be leading, but you won't be doing everything alone - you'll have access to our in-house editors, designers, and writers - but you'll be the one driving the strategy, setting the direction, and executing it.
What You'll Own
Social Media (Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn): You'll run all of Lever's social channels. We want Instagram to feel alive - behind-the-scenes, employee-generated content, day-in-the-life, team culture, the fun stuff that makes people want to work here and work with us. LinkedIn should position us as the authority in personal branding. YouTube is an opportunity to build something from scratch.
Email & Newsletters: Own our email marketing - building and growing our subscriber base, creating campaigns that actually get opened, and nurturing leads who come into our world.
Lead Magnets & Funnels: Work closely with the founders and senior leadership to plan, produce, and distribute lead magnets that bring the right people to us - whether that's guides, reports, templates, or something we haven't thought of yet.
Events: Plan and coordinate both online and in-person events - from webinars and workshops to IRL meetups and networking events that get our name in the right rooms.
Website & Case Studies: Keep our website sharp, up to date, and converting. Coordinate case studies that show the real results we deliver - the kind of proof that makes prospects reach out the same day.
Analytics & Reporting: Track everything. Know what's working, what's not, and why. Report back with insights, not just numbers.
Ad Hoc Projects: Support new channel launches and agency initiatives as they come up. The pace here is fast and things change - you should be comfortable with that.
A Day in the Life
Morning - Check your channels. Review overnight engagement, respond to comments and DMs, and queue up the day's content. Quick check-in with any designers or editors working on your briefs.
Late Morning - Deep work. This might be planning next week's Instagram content calendar, scripting a YouTube video, writing email copy, or building out a lead magnet with the founders.
Afternoon - Coordination time. Brief the design team on upcoming assets, review drafts from writers, prep event logistics, or update website copy and case studies.
Late Afternoon - Analytics review. Pull performance data, spot trends, and adjust your strategy. Document what you're learning so we can all get smarter.
End of Day - Plan tomorrow. Make sure everything scheduled is locked in and nothing's falling through the cracks.
What We're Looking For
2-3+ years of experience in a marketing assistant or marketing manager role, working across multiple channels. Agency experience is a plus but not essential - we care more about what you've actually built and delivered.
A content-first mindset. You understand that great marketing starts with great content. You can write, you have taste, and you know the diff
About the Company
"Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world." - Archimedes
A lever multiplies force. Small input, massive output. That's physics.
That's also what personal brand is. Leverage.
And we help you build it.
The right positioning, the right content, the right audience - and you multiply your output on the same input. It attracts customers, talent, and capital. It opens doors that no amount of paid ads can.
We work with founders who understand this:
