At Macquarie, our advantage is bringing together diverse people and empowering them to shape all kinds of possibilities. We are a global financial services group operating in 31 markets and with 56 years of unbroken profitability. You’ll be part of a friendly and supportive team where everyone - no matter what role - contributes ideas and drives outcomes.

What role will you play?

As an off-cycle intern, you will gain experience first-hand in the analysis of investment ideas across the structured lending space, covering sponsors and originators throughout continental Europe. Your responsibilities could include conducting in-depth due diligence, asset analysis, and modelling to refine investment theses and forecast asset performance, as well as supporting the structuring, negotiation, and documentation of investments and supporting the team in preparing and presenting investment materials and transaction documentation for both internal and external stakeholders. You will sit side by side experienced colleagues who will support you as you learn and build new skills.

What You Offer

You are a current student or recent graduate, with a strong academic background, ideally within a quantitative or analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Maths, Physics, or similar).
Strong analytical skills, including the ability to self-direct, evaluate, and form independent judgments.
Ability to achieve greater operating efficiency through effective use of AI tools, with proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; familiarity with financial modelling or programming tools (e.g., Python, VBA) is desirable.
Attention to detail and the ability to produce consistently high-quality deliverables.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to build relationships across various stakeholders.
Fluency in French and English is essential, with other European languages considered advantageous for cross-border transactions.

We love hearing from anyone inspired to build a better future with us, if you're excited about the role or working at Macquarie we encourage you to apply.
