Overview
We’re seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead the development of advanced analytical and machine learning solutions that support our chatbot and AI-driven products. This role is ideal for someone who combines strong technical expertise with a commitment to accuracy, transparency, and rigorous scientific methodology.
What You’ll Do
As a senior member of the team, you will:
Create sophisticated analytical and statistical models that support regulated, high‑visibility decision‑making.
Apply advanced statistical, machine learning, and analytical techniques to complex problems, ensuring all work is precise, repeatable, and fully explainable.
Use scientific reasoning to generate insights, including model development, feature engineering, and in‑depth data exploration.
Build and deploy machine learning models that enhance chatbot comprehension, response quality, and engagement outcomes.
Analyze extensive datasets from chatbot interactions to uncover trends, diagnose issues, and identify areas for optimization.
Partner closely with cross‑functional groups to transform analytical findings into real improvements for users and product experiences.
Continuously monitor, evaluate, and refine modeling approaches to maintain reliability, scalability, and alignment with business objectives.
Stay current on emerging methods in AI, NLP, and data mining to drive innovation within the product ecosystem.
Communicate complex technical insights clearly to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior data scientists and support broader team goals.
What You Bring
Proven ability to design and validate advanced analytical models.
Strong understanding of modeling explainability, reproducibility, and regulatory considerations.
Experience with machine learning development, documentation practices, and large‑scale data analysis.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to translate technical findings into actionable recommendations.
Leadership experience through mentoring, coaching, or guiding junior team members.
Bachelor’s degree in a technical field
3-5 years of related experience, preferably in financial services or banking
Strong skills in building and deploying machine learning models
Strong experience in Python similar languages
Knowledge of ML frameworks
Experience in data mining, statistical analysis, and visualization tools.
