Junior Commercial Manager (Manchester)

Location: Manchester

Role Type: Hybrid, 2 – 3 days per week in the office

Salary: £45,000 – £55,000

The Role

We’re looking for a Junior Commercial Manager to join our growing IT business and support the commercial management of customer and supplier contracts across their full lifecycle. This is a hands-on role with real exposure to contracts, stakeholders, and decision-making — ideal for someone early in their commercial career who wants to learn fast and progress.

What You’ll Be Doing

Supporting contracts from bid stage through delivery, renewal, and close-out
Reviewing contracts and flagging key commercial terms, risks, and obligations
Keeping contract data, trackers, and documentation accurate and up to date
Supporting contract changes, renewals, and variations
Helping ensure contracts align with commercial policies and governance
Working closely with Sales, Legal, Finance, Delivery, and Procurement teams
Assisting with negotiations under guidance from senior colleagues
Supporting commercial reporting, invoicing, and margin tracking
Spotting risks, issues, and opportunities early and escalating when needed

What We Are Looking For

Experience in a commercial, contracts, finance, legal, or business support role (including graduate roles or internships)
A basic understanding of commercial contracts and how they work in practice
Experience in a Commercial role within Technology/Software (desired)
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Confident communicator, written and verbal
Comfortable juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

What’s On Offer

Hybrid Working
£45,000 to £55,000 plus package (dependent on experience)
