We are recruiting an experienced Healthcare Assistants with a gynaecology background to support a high-impact NHS insourcing programme focused on reducing long waiting times and improving patient access.

You will work in a structured, consultant-led environment where patient safety, efficiency, and compassionate care are equally prioritised.

About the Role

As a Gynaecology Healthcare Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting outpatient clinics and procedure sessions within a busy NHS insourcing service. You will work closely with consultants, nurses, and administrative teams to ensure clinics run efficiently and patients receive a safe, respectful, and positive experience. This role involves direct patient contact, chaperoning, and clinical room support, requiring professionalism, discretion, and compassion at all times. Your contribution will directly support improved patient flow and reduced waiting times.

Key Responsibilities

Act as a chaperone during examinations and procedures
Assist clinicians during outpatient clinics and procedure sessions
Prepare and reset clinic rooms to support efficient patient flow
Maintain patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Follow Trust policies, infection control standards, and governance procedures
Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams
