We are hiring an experienced Grafana Cloud Implementation Specialist to lead enterprise-grade observability initiatives for a leading Finance client. If you have deep expertise in metrics, logs, traces, and cloud-native monitoring — this opportunity is for you!
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid – 3 Days/Week Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months (High Possibility of Extension)

Job Summary
Seeking a seasoned Grafana Cloud expert (5+ years) to design, deploy, and optimize scalable observability solutions. You will drive end-to-end implementation across metrics, logs, and distributed tracing while collaborating with DevOps, SRE, and application teams to elevate monitoring maturity.
Must-Have (Non-Negotiable) Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with Grafana / Grafana Cloud
Strong expertise in:
Grafana Mimir, Loki, Tempo, Prometheus, Alertmanager
PromQL, LogQL, SQL query optimization
OpenTelemetry instrumentation
Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
Strong background in Kubernetes, microservices & cloud-native observability
Proficiency with Terraform, Helm, Git, CI/CD pipelines
Deep understanding of SRE principles, SLIs/SLOs/SLAs, monitoring design & performance engineering
Ability to drive end-to-end observability adoption across cross-functional teams
Comfortable working independently in fast-paced environments
Key Responsibilities
Grafana Cloud Implementation & Administration
Design & manage enterprise-scale Grafana Cloud environments
Configure data sources (Prometheus, Loki, Tempo, InfluxDB, Elasticsearch, CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP Operations Suite)
Implement secure authentication (SSO, OAuth, LDAP, Azure AD)
Optimize performance, scalability & cost efficiency
Observability Architecture
Build full-stack observability solutions (metrics, logs, traces)
Define monitoring strategies aligned to SRE best practices
Implement advanced alerting & escalation policies
Dashboarding & Visualization
Develop scalable, standardized, and visually compelling dashboards
Translate technical & business monitoring requirements into actionable insights
Integration & Automation
Integrate with Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines & cloud platforms
Automate deployments via Terraform, Helm, GitOps workflows
Implement distributed tracing with OpenTelemetry
Troubleshooting & Enablement
Diagnose cross-stack issues & tune queries for performance
Ensure high availability of monitoring platforms
Create architecture documentation, runbooks & best practices
Train teams and serve as Grafana Cloud SME
