The role

Please note, we are only accepting applicants from the provinces of Ontario and Québec for this role. For Québec-based candidates, fluency in English is necessary because the position entails collaboration with teams based in the rest of Americas and occasionally in Europe.

Must Have Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:

Proven professional experience in AEM development as technical lead.
Knowledge of Agile principles – scrum, backlog, sprint, etc.
Strong proficiency in modern software development and Git.
Hands-on experience building frontends and experiences with Edge Delivery Services and modern AEM authoring tooling including either Document Authoring or Universal Editor approaches
Experience with Content Fragments and Experience Fragments, ideally with GraphQL.
Experience in creating Sling Servlets and OSGi Services and creation of content imports
Experience in AEM asset management.
Experience in consuming third-party APIs.
Hands-on or exposure to AEM Cloud Service and AEM Cloud Manager setups
User access management, ACL configurations.
Knowledge of Workflows.
Implementation of front-end and backend unit tests.
Experience in frontend (Javascript, CSS, and HTML).
Experience in problem-solving and debugging.

AEM Developer certification and another related one
AEM Assets and broader Experience Cloud solutions, including Adobe Analytics, Adobe Target and Adobe Workfront

The Benefits

This is a Full time position based in Canada. The offered salary range is $100,000-$180,000 CAD annually, depending on experience and location.

Valtech offers a comprehensive benefits package effective after three months of continuous service:
